Jaguars 2023 NFL Draft primer: What to know, how to watch, and more

The 2023 NFL Draft is officially upon us as the clock starts at 8 p.m. Thursday to begin the first round, an annual event that will see college players from across the country selected into the National Football League.

For the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team will start its draft night with the 24th overall pick, a major shift from owning the No. 1 overall pick the past two years.

After a 3-14 campaign in 2021, Jacksonville surpassed all expectations in 2022 season by going 9-8 and winning the AFC South, only the second time in team history. They followed that up by defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round of the playoffs to advance to the AFC Divisional round.
