We're heading into the penultimate weekend of the 2022-23 NBA season, and for most of you, this is it - championship time.

Keep in mind that three times play only once from Friday to Sunday: Boston on Friday and Miami and New Orleans on Saturday.

Here are the best pickups for the final three days of the week and the games that they're playing. Unless otherwise noted, all of the players listed below play Friday and Sunday.

Obi Toppin (5%)

Julius Randle is out for the rest of the regular season, and he'll miss some time in the postseason as well. His absence is a huge blow to managers who rostered him, but we've got a case of silly season déjà vu on our hands. Toppin started the final five games of the 2021-22 season and averaged 27.2 points, 6.2 boards, 2.8 dimes, 1.0 blocks and 3.8 triples, and what do you know? There are exactly five games left in the 2022-23 regular season. Say it with me: “There's just no stoppin'... Obi Toppin!”

Next two games: CLE, WAS

Talen Horton-Tucker (44%)

THT has started 16 straight, delivering favorable results along the way. He's turned it up to 11 over his last 10 games, averaging 18.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 6.7 dimes. Those games included performances with 37 points and a career-high 41 points Wednesday against the Spurs. Remember that Obi Toppin déjà vu? Horton-Tucker started his final three games as a Laker last season and scored 40 against Golden State on April 7.

Bones Hyland (41%)

With Paul George out, Hyland has seen some solid rotation minutes behind Russell Westbrook as of late, averaging 16.8 points, 3.3 boards, 7.0 dimes, 1.3 steals and 3.3 triples across 24.0 minutes over his last four. He's been uber-efficient with his playing time, but even if he regresses a little bit, he's contributing in multiple categories and should be a beneficial waiver wire target.

Shaedon Sharpe (59%)
Adding this man certainly isn't a dull idea. Portland has shut things down and started to tank in ridiculously absurd fashion. Over his last five, Sharpe has logged an absurd 38.6 minutes per night, averaging 23.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.6 triples. He's scored at least 24 points in four of those and accounted for 30 of the Blazers' 80 points in Thursday's blowout loss to Sacramento. If he's still available on your waiver wire, there's absolutely no reason not to add him.

Next two games: SAC, MIN

Deni Avdija (48%)

Kyle Kuzma has missed five straight, and he's already been ruled out of Friday's matchup with Orlando. Washington's just two games out of the play-in tournament in the East, but the team is surely prioritizing its future over a slim playoff chance this season, so we'd be surprised if Kuz took the court again in 2022-23. Over the last five without Kuzma in the lineup, Avdija has been stellar, producing 18.4 points, 9.6 boards, 5.4 dimes, 1.0 steals and 2.0 triples while shooting better than 63% from the floor.

Andrew Nembhard (26%)

Will we see Tyrese Haliburton again in 2022-23? It seems unlikely considering his recent injuries and the Pacers' record. That means Nembhard should continue to play big minutes and operate as the team's primary playmaker. He handed out a career-high 14 dimes Wednesday against the Pacers, and if you're in need of assists heading into the weekend, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better pickup.

Luke Kennard (35%)

Kennard has quickly assumed a regular role in Memphis' rotation, and he's averaged 26.6 minutes per tilt over his last eight. In that span, the sharpshooter has averaged 15.3 points, 3.8 boards, 2.8 assists and 4.0 triples while shooting better than 60% from the floor and 85% from the charity stripe.

Next two games: LAC, CHI

Isaiah Joe (14%)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been ruled out of Friday's matchup with the Pacers, as he'll sit for a third straight contest. Joe will presumably be back in the starting lineup after starting each of OKC's last two and delivering a career-high 33 points against Charlotte on Tuesday. Through 10 starts this season, Joe has averaged 15.9 points and 3.1 triples.

Next two games: IND, PHX

Xavier Tillman (36%)

Tillman has been in the starting five for 18 straight games, delivering solid numbers to fantasy managers along the way. The big man has been superb over his last three, posting 17.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks across 32.3 minutes. He should remain in the starting lineup the rest of the way, and managers in need of boards and defensive stats should turn to him. The recent boost in scoring is just a cherry on top.

Next two games: LAC, CH
