The Islanders have officially released their opening night roster for the 2023-24 season.

New York will be looking to get back to the playoffs in their second year under head coach Lane Lambert, after being eliminated by the first place Carolina Hurricanes in the first round last season.

GM Lou Lamoriello didn’t make too many big splashes in free agency this offseason, but he was able to retain forward Bo Horvat, who was acquired from the Vancouver Canucks in a trade deadline deal.

Horvat figures to slot back in on Lambert’s top line alongside Mathew Barzal and Oliver Wahlstrom. He recorded seven goals and nine assists (16 points) across 30 games on the Island.

Among the new faces is former Rangers winger Julien Gauthier, who signed with the blue and orange on a two-deal deal this offseason. The speedster cracked the roster after impressing during preseason action.

The Islanders will kick off regular season action with a matchup against the Buffalo Sabres on Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at UBS Arena.

They'll be carrying 14 forwards, seven defensemen and two goalies to begin the campaign, here’s a look at the rest of the roster:
