Iowa Hawkeyes earn second crystal ball for 3-star 2024 ATH Brevin Doll

Two months into college football’s offseason, it’s time to fully ramp up the recruiting radar.

The Iowa Hawkeyes were busy this weekend with a Junior Day that welcomed in a number of key 2024 targets. To begin the weekend that was, 247Sports’ Allen Trieu submitted a crystal ball prediction that the Hawkeyes would eventually land a commitment from one of the top players in the state of Iowa.

A three-star prospect per 247Sports, Adel Desoto Minburn athlete Brevin Doll was crystal balled to the Hawkeyes last Friday. It’s the second 247Sports crystal ball prediction in favor of Iowa for Doll. The Hawkeyes also earned a crystal ball prediction from Hawkeye Insider‘s Sean Bock on Feb. 20.

Doll is currently regarded as the nation’s No. 80 athlete and the eighth-ranked recruit in Iowa for the 2024 class by 247Sports. The 6-foot, 185 pound athlete led the state of Iowa with 2,681 all-purpose yards, including 1,475 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns. He added 640 receiving yards and six scores and was a game-changer on special teams, too. Doll had a pair of touchdowns combined on kick and punt returns.

The electric athlete could play both wide receiver and running back at the next level, but Doll told Inside The Hawkeyes‘ Rob Howe that the plan is in the backfield at least for now.

“Right now, they are thinking running back,” Doll told Howe.

Iowa offered Doll on Feb. 20. At the time, the Hawkeyes joined Army, Kansas State, Princeton, Northern Iowa, South Dakota and Oklahoma State in the offers department. Doll has since picked up offers from Minnesota, Purdue and Iowa State.

“It means a lot, especially being in state. It means I have the chance to stay close to home,” Doll said of the Hawkeyes offering.

Here’s a look at Doll’s Hudl tape from A-D-M this past season. Plus, his full recruiting profile.
