With Green set to miss at least two weeks, the former Defensive Player of the Year will miss Golden State’s preseason opener on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers along with their second preseason game against the Lakers again.

With Green missing time, Steve Kerr will have to experiment with different lineups early in the preseason. Newcomers Chris Paul and Dario Saric could be in line for a larger role with Green set to miss some time in the preseason.
