Ingleside's Aidan Jakobsohn named Class 4A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week

Aidan Jakobsohn's historic performance last week helped Ingleside remain unbeaten in the 2023 high school football season.

The senior quarterback completed 18 passes for 426 yards and a career-best eight touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to a 69-28 win against Carrizo Springs.

Jakobsohn was rewarded for his performance by being named the Built Ford Tough Class 4A Texas High School Football Player of the Week.

The Built Ford Tough Award is handed out to one player in the state in each classification every week during the Texas high school football regular season.

Jakobsohn was joined this week in winning the award by D.J. Lagway (Class 6A, Willis); Kody Fuentes (Class 5A, Barbers Hill); Cooper Reynolds (Class 3A, Ponder); Armando Lujan (Class 2A, Sunray); Kyle Prazak (Private schools, Legacy Prepatory Christian Academy).
