UPDATE: Indianapolis Colts starting defensive lineman arrested
Indianapolis Colts starting nose tackle David Parry was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona Saturday morning.
The former Stanford standout was booked on charges for resisting arrest, criminal damage, theft, robbery and DUI. The Maricopa Sheriffs office confirmed the arrest this morning.

Parry,24, has started all 32 of the Colts regular season games over the last two years. The 6′ 2″ 300 pound defensive lineman has accumulated 78 tackles and four sacks.
The Colts have yet to issue a statement regarding Parry at this time. However we will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
One thing is for sure; it looks as though Parry might not be a member of the Colts for much longer. Especially if the robbery charges turn out to be true.
UPDATE
According to the Indy Star and police records here is what happened.
The 24-year-old was taken into custody just after 2:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 6900 block of East Osborn Road after someone called 911 regarding an assault and auto theft.
The victim told officers he had picked up three people from a downtown bar in his “transportation cart” and had dropped two of them off. When he got out of the cart to collect payment, Parry allegedly hit the victim in the head, got in the cart and sped away.
Police were later called to a hit-and-run collision nearby, where responding officers found the cart crashed into a gate. Officers later found Parry on the sidewalk, apparently drunk, police said. They described him as “belligerent” and said he berated the officers who arrested him.
“He was very belligerent, cursing at the officers and insulting them, and when they went to arrest him he was yelling and pulling away,” Sgt. Ben Hoster with the Scottsdale Police Department told KTVK. “It took them a long time to get him into handcuffs.”
