Indiana basketball starts the 2023-24 season by hosting Florida Gulf Coast.
The Hoosiers come with a moderately revamped roster, with newcomers Kel'el Ware, Mackenzie Mgbako and Gabe Cupps expected to contribute. Key returning players include Trey Galloway, Malik Reneau, with C.J. Gunn and Kaleb Banks expected to contribute more than last season. Coach Mike Woodson is entering his third season.

He led the Eagles last season with 14.9 points and 3.3 assists per game while shooting 37.6% from 3-point range. Other key returning players for coach Pat Chambers (formerly Penn State) include Zach Anderson (6-7, 11.7 ppg, 37.3% 3FG, 6.7 rpg) and Andre Weir (6-10, 9.2 ppg, 6.0 rpg).
The Eagles from Fort Myers, Florida, finished 17-15 last season and in the lower half of the Atlantic Sun standings.
