BLOOMINGTON — The Big Ten announced Indiana basketball's conference schedule for the 2023-24 season on Tuesday.
The Hoosiers open their 20-game league schedule on Dec. 1 against Maryland.
They had a 12-8 record in Big Ten play last year and tied for second in the conference with Northwestern. Purdue won the regular season championship and beat Penn State to win last year's Big Ten tournament as well.
Indiana opens the season with an exhibition against Indianapolis at Assembly Hall on Oct. 29. The Hoosiers non-conference schedule includes a trip to New York to play in the Empire Classic at Madison Square Garden, a neutral-site game against Auburn and Kansas visiting Bloomington on Dec. 16.
All tipoff tips and television designations for Indiana's conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
