IHSAA girls basketball: Ranking Indiana's top 26 juniors in 2025 class
How good is the Class of 2025 in Indiana? Well, it already features two nationally-ranked Purdue commits, an IU commit and another nationally-ranked prospect who's been receiving Division I offers since before her freshman year.
What follows is an attempt at ranking the state's top 26 prospects from this year's junior class.

1. Jaylah Lampley, Lawrence Central
The 6-1 guard followed a strong freshman campaign with an equally-impressive sophomore season, averaging 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals per game with a 42% field goal percentage. Ranked 48th nationally by ESPN, Lampley is an explosive scorer and distinguished by both her length and athleticism defensively.
2. Avery Gordon, Brownsburg
Standing at 6-6, Gordon is already noticeable underneath the basket and overcame injury to establish herself as that dominant post presence last season. She averaged 18 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game, with an impressive 58% conversion rate on field goals. Gordon, who committed to Purdue in October, is ranked 42nd nationally by ESPN.

3. Kira Reynolds, South Bend Washington
The 6-3 Purdue commit shined as part of a star-studded Panthers lineup, averaging career-highs in points (16.1), rebounds (12), assists (2.8), steals (1.7) and blocks (5.8) in her second varsity season. Reynolds shot 60% for the season and is a career 58% shooter from the floor. ESPN ranks her 59th nationally.
4. Maya Makalusky, Hamilton Southeastern
The sharp-shooting Makalusky followed a strong high school season with a commitment to IU over the summer. The 6-4 guard maintained a 46% field goal percentage (125-for-270) and a 40% 3-point percentage (49-for-124). She averaged 15.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game, and is closing in on 1,000 points for her career.
5. Monique Mitchell, South Bend Washington
The 5-11 forward has earned offers from a number of Division I programs, including Michigan State, Ball State, Evansville, Purdue Fort Wayne and Valparaiso, among others. Mitchell averaged 13.4 points and nearly three steals over 28 games, and shot 52% from the field to raise her career mark to 50%.
6. Meredith Tippner, Noblesville
A tenacious defender and fearless rebounder, the multi-sport standout doubled her scoring output from year one and averaged nearly a double-double per game at 17.6 ppg and 9.2 rpg. The 5-9 Tippner rounded out her line with 3.0 assists and 2.6 steals per game, and boasted a 47% field goal percentage. She holds multiple D-I offers, with Columbia, Loyola Chicago, Marquette, Penn, St. John's and Tulsa among her most recent.
7. Addison Baxter, Columbia City
A 5-9 guard, the Butler commit averaged 18.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 3.8 steals per game last season, to lift the Eagles to a 20-3 finish and earn Supreme 15 Underclass plaudits.
8. Laila Abdurraqib, Lawrence Central
Abdurraqib has performed at a high level despite missing time due to injury, averaging 12.5 points, 2.7 assists and 2.5 steals over 30 career games. The 5-7 point guard — who was good for 13.1 ppg, 3.1 apg and 3 spg last season — holds offers from IUPUI, Valparaiso and Lipscomb, among others.
9. Lily Graves, Franklin Central
Graves averaged over 14 points and five rebounds in her second varsity season, with three 20-point performances and a double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) in a three-point loss to Shelbyville in late December. The 5-11 guard has received offers from Toledo, Indiana State and Northern Kentucky among others, and should be bolstered by a strong freshman class this season.
10. Ryiah Wilson, South Bend Washington
Wilson logged eight points and three steals in the 2022 Class 3A final, and she shined within an expanded role as a sophomore, averaging 11 points, four assists and six steals per game. She shot 45% and committed just 52 turnovers over 28 games. She added Ball State, Illinois State and Evansville (among others) to her list of offers during the offseason.
11. Brooke Winchester, Warsaw
The 6-0 forward — and recent Ball State commit — is coming off a breakout season wherein she averaged around 12 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal per game. A 43% shooter (35% from 3), she had a couple double-doubles and went for 19 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Homestead.
12. Alyssa Murphy, Corydon Central
The 5-6 guard joins the 3A runner-up Panthers by way of Kentucky, where she starred for Mercy Academy, averaging 13.4 points and 4.0 rebounds and shooting 31.6% from 3. Murphy is not expected to play this season after suffering a torn ACL over the summer, but holds offers from Buffalo, Miami (Ohio) and Murray State.
13. Nevaeh Dickman, Fishers
The 6-0 forward totaled 25 points over 17 games for the Class 4A runner-up Tigers last season, but she made waves over the summer, picking up D-I offers from Ball State, IUPUI, Buffalo, Eastern Illinois, Kent State, Oakland and Western Michigan.
14. Leah West, Greensburg
A large school All-State pick, the 6-1 West averaged over 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block per game. She shot 54% from the field and finished 23-for-65 from 3. West holds offers from Indiana Wesleyan, Wright State and East Tennessee State.
15. Vanessa Wimberly, Lake Central
The 5-5 guard dropped 21 points in a win over Valparaiso in January, then scored a team-high 17 points to help spark an upset of South Bend Washington in the semistate semifinals. Wimberly averaged 7.4 points, 2.7 assists and 3.1 steals per game as a sophomore, and will be at the forefront of an Indians team that's set to return its entire lineup from last season.
16. Kenzie Garner, Sheridan
The 6-0 forward is coming off a dazzling sophomore campaign wherein she averaged nearly 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assist, four steals and a block over 22 games. She cleared 20 points in 11 games, including a career-best 29-point showing in a three-point win over Clinton Central. A career 43% shooter, Garner picked up an offer from Purdue Fort Wayne in April.
17. Kaycie Warfel, Pendleton Heights
The second-oldest Warfel sister made waves as a freshman (15.8 ppg, 3 spg) and took further strides as a sophomore. The 5-10 guard/wing averaged over 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals per game for the Arabians, and shot 50% (191-for-379) from the field. Warfel went for 34 points in a 55-53 win over Shelbyville last November.
18. Addie Bowsman, Twin Lakes
Bowsman maintained momentum from a strong freshman campaign, averaging 17.4 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 6.9 apg and 1.8 spg to lead the Indians (28-1) to the semistate finals. The 5-7 guard posted a career-high 36 points on 15-of-23 shooting vs. Tri-County, and scored 25 points to help take down West Lafayette in double overtime in sectionals. Bowsman, who set TL's season assists record (200), holds offers from Findlay and Bethel, among others.
19. Gabby Spink, Gibson Southern
A 5-9 guard, Spink displayed her talents as both a scorer (14.9 ppg) and a playmaker (4.6 apg) last season, powering the Titans to a 21-5 finish that culminated with the program's first regional championship since 2001-02. Spink's list of offers includes Evansville, Purdue Fort Wayne, Bellarmine and Murray State.
20. Kya Hurt, Lawrence North
Hurt nearly recorded a double-double in the sectional final vs. Warren Central (13 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists), then went for 12 points vs. Brownsburg in regionals a week later. The 5-9 guard, who added an offer from Hofstra this spring and recently took an unofficial visit to Louisville, averaged 7.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.4 apg and 2 spg.
21. Kimber Abshear, Monroe Central
The 6-3 forward was good for a double-double per game (13.3 points, 10.3 rebounds) and was among the state leaders in blocks, averaging 3.1 a game. Abshear is a career 57% shooter, and recently committed to Oakland, picking the Golden Grizzlies over Bradley and Evansville, among others.
22. Jamaya Thomas, Lawrence North
An absolute monster inside, the 6-1 center is the Wildcats' top returning rebounder (4.7 rpg) and second-leading scorer (7.7 ppg). She posted 13 points and pulled in five rebounds to help beat Warren Central in the sectional final.
23. Ella Bobe, South Knox
Bobe kicked off her sophomore campaign with a school-record 37-point performance vs. White River Valley. The 5-8 guard averaged 17 points for the 18-win Spartans and set the school's single-season assists record (127). She's drawing interest from a number of colleges, including Bradley.
24. Aniah Smith, Avon
The 5-5 point guard averaged 16.5 points, 3.6 assists and 4.1 steals against a stacked schedule. A 46% shooter last season, Smith had five 20-point performances, including a 28-point, six-steal outing vs. Cathedral. The two-time All-Hendricks County pick holds a D-I offer from Lipscomb.
25. Hadley Crosier, Lanesville
The 5-9 junior tallied nine points, five assists and four steals in the Class A state championship game vs. Bethany Christian, and finished the year averaging over 10 points, three assists and four steals. She received offers over the summer from Maryville and Indiana Wesleyan.
26. Carley Barrett, Lafayette Central Catholic
The guard/forward cleared double figures in 24 of 27 games including a 19-point, 17-rebound performance vs. FW Luers in the regional championship. She averaged 18.5 points and 10.3 rebounds amidst the team's run to semistate, and 15.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 4.1 apg and 3.1 spg for the season. A standout volleyball player, Barrett was recently offered by Franklin College.
