Hudsonville/Georgetown was 4-0 in the regionals last week in Pendleton, Indiana, including a 7-0 victory in the championship game against Indiana.

"We are incredibly proud of our team's undefeated performance throughout the district, state, and regional tournaments," coach Shawn Veenstra said. "Their hard work and dedication have earned us a spot in the Junior League Softball World Series, and we can't wait to make our community proud once again."

The journey to Washington comes at a cost and the team has set up a GoFundMe for some help with travel expenses.

"We are looking for support from our community to make this journey possible," added Veenstra. "Your support will play a crucial role in our quest to bring home another championship."
