Hudson Valley Lacrosse Hall of Fame reactivates after 15 years, adds 4 members
After more than a decade of inactivity, the Hudson Valley Lacrosse Hall of Fame is dropping names again.
The chapter has reactivated and recently announced four new members — Katrina Dowd, Sean Lindsay, Merrill Turnbull and Alexis Venechanos. They will be inducted during a Dec. 2 dinner at Putnam County Golf Course.
"It’s been a long time and there are a lot of players, coaches and officials worthy of recognition so it’s something we want to breathe some life back into it," said former Lakeland head coach Jim Lindsay, who has joined the board. "We’re going to be backlogged for a bit. We’ve got over a decade to make up for."
