Hubert Davis watches G.G. Jackson again in Kansas City

This week has been filled with rumors surrounding five-star UNC basketball commit G.G. Jackson. After a report from On3’s Jamie Shaw surfaced that Jackson could flip his commitment from UNC to South Carolina, the rumors began to swirl.

And they are rumors UNC fans don’t want to hear. Shaw even flipped his prediction on On3 to the Gamecocks after his article was out.

Jackson is the No. 1 ranked recruit in the 2024 class, picking UNC over Duke, South Carolina and the G-League back on April 27th. He’s a prized recruit for Hubert Davis and his staff and it appears as if the head coach isn’t going to stop recruiting him even after landing a commitment.

On Friday, Davis watched Jackson again at the Nike EYBL event in Kansas City:

This came just a day after Davis and assistants watched Jackson play for Team CP3. It’s clear Davis knows he has to make sure he keeps Jackson a Tar Heel and showing interest in the recruit by watching him can help.

Now, we just all await what Jackson is going to do as the Summer goes on.
