HS football top performers: Frenship's Hudson Hutcheson totals 601 yards, 8 TDs

Hudson Hutcheson, QB, Frenship

Hutcheson completed 34 of 48 passes for 520 yards, five touchdowns and an interception in a loss at Midland Legacy. He also ran 20 times for 81 yards and three scores.

Andrew Velasco, RB, Denver City

Velasco rushed for 320 yards and two scores on 24 carries in a win over Brownfield. He also scored a 49-yard TD on his only catch.

Chip Green, QB, Littlefield

Green was 15 of 23 passing for 202 yards, four TDs and an interception in a win over Coahoma. He also ran for 170 yards and a score on 15 carries.

Dante Chavez, QB, Morton

Chavez was 11 of 18 passing for 114 yards and two TDs in a win over Plains. He also ran for a team-high 138 yards and two scores on 22 carries.

Daenin Smith, RB, Snyder

Smith ran 33 times for 228 yards and two TDs in a loss to Midland Greenwood.

Leyton Stone, WR, Frenship

Stone led the team with 11 catches for 182 yards and three TDs.

Hayden Torres, RB, Ropes

Torres ran 12 times for 143 yards and three TDs in a win over Smyer. He also caught one pass for 13 yards.

Daniel Sianez, RB, Muleshoe

Sianez ran 18 times for 210 yards and two TDs in a loss to Bushland.

Isaiah Ruiz, RB, Olton

Ruiz ran for 189 yards and two TDs on 26 carries in a win over Post.

Hector Zamora, QB, Lamesa

Zamora was 10 of 14 passing for 129 yards and two TDs in a win over Kermit. He also ran seven times for 72 yards and a score.

Slade Martin, RB, New Deal

Martin ran for 127 yards and two TDs on 10 carries in a win over Tahoka. He also had two catches for 43 yards. On defense he made eight tackles (seven solo), including one for a loss.

Gentry Pounds, RB, Idalou

Pounds rushed for 103 yards and three TDs on 19 carries in a win over Abernathy.

Sebastian Sandoval, RB/DB, Roosevelt

Sandoval had nine tackles (six solo), an interception and a forced fumble in a win over Stanton. He also ran for 19 yards and two TDs on six carries.

Chase Campbell, WR, Frenship

Campbell had 10 catches for 144 yards and two scores.

Raymond Ramirez, QB, Olton

Ramirez was 5 of 6 passing for 104 yards and a TD, adding 133 yards and a score on 24 carries.

Zane Garvin, RB, Tahoka

Garvin ran 31 times for 145 yards and a TD.

Omar Martinez, WR, Littlefield

Martinez made six catches for 94 yards and two TDs.

Ian Vergara, RB, Post

Vergara ran 21 times for 163 yards and a TD.

Jacob James, DB, Snyder

James made two interceptions.

Kolter Dockery, WR/DB, Ropes

Dockery led the team with four catches for 93 yards and a TD. He also made 10 tackles (five solo) and an interception.

Alan Gallegos, DL, Plains

Gallegos led the team with 11 tackles (five solo), including three for a loss and two sacks.

Derek Torrez, WR, Lubbock High

Torrez had two catches for 131 yards and two scores in a loss to Amarillo Palo Duro.

Marcello King, RB, Sudan

King ran 25 times for 114 yards and a TD in a win over Hale Center.

Kade Franklin, QB, Ropes

Franklin was 13 of 18 passing for 255 yards and a TD. He also rushed once for 13 yards.

Nate Casarez, QB, Roosevelt

Casarez rushed for 103 yards and two TDs on 12 carries.

Jonah Escalante, QB, Denver City

Escalante was 8 of 11 passing for 90 yards and a TD. He also ran five times for 107 yards and a score.

Jhoan Menjivar, WR, Plains

Menjivar caught five passes for 105 yards and a TD.

Trent Wilson, QB, Sudan

Wilson was 7 of 15 passing for 124 yards, two TDs and two interceptions. He also ran for 111 yards on 16 carries.

Benito Barrioz, RB, Lamesa

Barrioz ran for 101 yards on 22 carries, adding two catches for 35 yards.
