Hilarious prank shows Chiefs having fun at training camp

Though the dog days of training camp can be a grind for players in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs are having a great time as they prepare to defend their Super Bowl LVII title, as evidenced by a video of a hilarious prank that played out in their locker room at Missouri Western State University.

The masterful gambit at play involved a fake serpent and a cooler that, when closed, looks just like any other beverage receptacle. As the lid of the icebox opens, the snake appears to rise out of its bottom, which managed to scare the living daylights out of several Chiefs who fell for the ruse.

While it is unclear exactly which member of the team pulled off this legendary stunt, cornerback Joshua Williams seemed to have the best angle to shoot video of the prank’s results.

Sillyness like this is to be expected when so many charismatic characters converge in one place for an extended period of time, and if the quality of this video is any indication, more high jinks are sure to follow in the coming weeks.
