High School Sports: Two Willmar athletes earn Central Lakes Conference weekly honors
Feb. 23—Willmar girls hockey goaltender Brynn Grieger and boys Nordic skier Jacob Peterson have each earned Central Lakes Conference Performer of the Week honors.
Grieger, a junior, earned a shutout in her first varsity start. Peterson, a freshman, placed 10th in his first varsity race with a time of 13 minutes, 55 seconds.
