High school sports scores for Oct. 9-14 across the Treasure Coast

Jensen Beach’s girls golf team was victorious at Monday’s Treasure Lake Conference Championship led by sophomore Claire Liu shooting a 1-over 73 to take medalist honors at Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club in Fort Pierce.

Liu birdied her final hole, carding a two on the par-3 fourth hole to clip Vero Beach junior Dounia Bezzari by one stroke.

Anita Wang shot a 5-over 77 to finish in third overall for the Falcons, who got a ninth place finish from senior Faith Ayers, who shot an 85 and senior Chloe Sebuck shot an 87 to finish tenth overall.

Vero Beach took second as a team led by Bezzari's 2-over 74 and senior Hailey Eisert finishing in a tie for seventh after shooting a 9-over 81.

A trio of golfers shot 7-over 79 to tie for fourth with Lincoln Park Academy junior Abby Smith, Treasure Coast junior Jenna Missett and South Fork junior Lily Boulter finishing in the top five.

Jensen Beach as a team made six birdies with Ayers leading the way with three and Martin County’s Abby Halpern also made three birdies in her round of 9-over 81.

Treasure Coast d. Sebastian River 32-30, 27-25, 19-25, 20-25, 15-10: Zion Bokai led the Titans (11-11) with 30 kills and eight digs in the five-set victory. Kiera Demers added 16 digs and Lili Fantini finished the match with 27 assists and 17 digs for Treasure Coast.

St. Edward's d. Lincoln Park Academy 25-14, 25-18, 25-27, 16-25, 15-8: Meagan Baker had 14 kills and CJ Fykes added 10 kills and 29 digs as the Pirates (12-6) won their fourth straight match. Makena Rodriguez added seven kills and 26 digs, Natalee Rogers collected 34 and Elliotte Kahler finished the match with 35 assists and 13 digs for St. Edward's.

South Fork d. John Carroll Catholic 25-18, 17-25, 25-10, 25-8: Ava Bochenek had 10 kills and nine digs to lead the Rams (13-12) in a win on Senior Night. Senior Aubrey Scammell had six kills and four aces, senior Jayla Preston had four aces and nine digs and Brynn Burgk totaled 24 assists as the Bulldogs honored the senior class of Scammell, Preston, Cloe Follwell, Alina Perez, Milly Ailon and Jazzie Noll.

Ayonna Mitchell had 10 kills, Halle Delince added eight kills, Kaylee Maikranz collected 10 digs and Lila Theberge totaled 27 assists for the Rams (4-10).

Boys Bowling

Treasure Coast 7, South Fork 0: Issac Garland bowled a 205 game and Nicholas Ochmann rolled a 379 series in the win for the Titans. Enrique Lustrova bowled a 175 game and a 298 series for the Bulldogs.

Girls Bowling

South Fork 7, Treasure Coast 0: Avari Fitzpatrick bowled a 167 game and a 312 series to lead the way for the Bulldogs. Lia Gionnotti rolled a 148 game and a 265 series for the Titans.

Emelia Glover added 16 kills and 10 digs, Caragh Francello collected 19 digs, Brooke Ashley had five aces and nine digs and Katelyn Bobo finished the match with 44 assists for Martin County.

Ava Bochenek led the Bulldogs (12-12) with 20 kills and added 13 digs, Breanna Berg added 12 kills, Aubrey Scammell and Cloe Follwell each had 11 kills, Jayla Preston and Hailee Curl each had 24 digs and Brynn Burgk totaled 50 assists for South Fork.
