BOYS SOCCER

Division II

Westerly 1, East Greenwich 0

Jovany Santos' penalty kick in the first half was all the Bulldogs would need, as keeper Chase Wycall made 7 saves to keep the Avengers off the board in the Division II contest. EG's Luca DiTraglia had 3 saves in the loss.

Shea 2, Burrillville 0

Brian Arias scored both goals and Marlon Chacon made 6 saves in net as the Raiders, now 3-1-1, blanked the Broncos, 1-5-0.

Division IV

Mount Pleasant 7, Toll Gate 2

The Kilties ran out to a 5-0 lead at halftime and tacked on two more in the second half, thanks in large part to Josias Martinez who scored 4 goals (1 assist). Moises Augustin (5 assists), Roodley Darius and Alan Grave each scored for Mt. Pleasant as well. Rhontahn Vega scored both goals for the Titans. In net, Reymondo Alvarez made 12 saves for Mt. Pleasant; Robert Caruso had 14 for Toll Gate.

GIRLS SOCCER

Division II

Lincoln 3, Burrillville 0

Lincoln improved to 4-1 in Division II with win over the Broncos. the Lions got two goals from freshman Riley Bouthilette and another freshman, Danika Denham, had the other tally.

Division IV

Woonsocket 6, Hope 0

The Novans' Cassidy Comfort had 5 goals and Aicha Diop added another to push Woonsocket's record to 1-1. Woonsocket's Riley Lesveque made 6 saves in the Division IV victory.

Division II

Rogers 5, Lincoln School 2

The Vikings (5-0) remain unbeaten in Division II play after topping the Lynx (4-3). In singles, Grace Rochelle (R)def. Kyra DiBiase (LS)  6-2, 6-1; Fayth Loper (R) def. Grace Augustyn (LS) 6-1, 6-2; Taylor Gray (R) def. Pamela Durango-Ramirez (LS) 7-5, 6-1, and Olivia Nightingale (LS) def. Nicole Rivera (R) 6-2, 6-1. In doubles, Ciara Caulfield Brynn Palmer (R) def Ruby Venditto Cleo Trudeau (LS) 7-6, 4-6, 6-1. Lincy Chen Grace Olivia-Booth (LS) def. Maddie Plowden Maddy Murphy (R) 6-3, 6-3, and Anna Simoes Phoebe Waugh (R) def. Avery Farnum Ramesh Balan (LS) 6-3, 6-4.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Division I

North Kingstown 3, Coventry 0 ((25-8, 25-14, 25-15)

Tessa Lafrenier (8 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces) and Madeleine Eriksen (3 kills, 5 aces) combined to lead the Skippers to their fifth victory in six matches.  The Knotty Oakers, who fall to 5-2, were led by Olivia Rollinson and her 10 kills.

Portsmouth 3, Cranston East 0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-12)

Avery Pelletier recorded 6 kills, 5 aces and 5 digs, Caitlin Mediate had 8 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs and 4 assists and Danielle Bannister was good for 6 kills and 3 digs in Portsmouth's victory over Cranston East in a Division I crossover. Brynn Murphy led the way for the Thunderbolt with 5 kills and 3 aces, Jayla Ou had 9 digs and Angelina Saing recorded 5 assists and 5 digs.

East Greenwich 3, South Kingstown 1 (25-22 8-25, 25-16, 25-22)

The Avengers' Amanda Duke had 12 assists and 6 aces, Hannah Gaffney had 12 digs and 2 assists and Brianna Hartman had 7 kills and 5 assists in the Division I win. For the Rebels, Karmen lambert had 2 aces, 13 kills and 2 blocks, and Sierra Thompson had 6 kills in the loss.

Division II

Mt. Hope 3, Lincoln 0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-23)

Mia Shaw led the Huskies with 22 assists, 4 digs and 2 aces, Abigail Allen had 7 kills and 2 blocks and Leah Marshall had 8 kills in the Division II victory. For the Lions, Casey Weaver had a whopping 28 kills, 4 aces and 2 blocks in the loss.

Middletown 3, Westerly 0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-23)

The play by Aidan Reilly (6 kills, 3 aces, 1 block), Skylar Schuster (4 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks) and Olivia Kestler (20 assists) helped the Islanders ease past the Bulldogs. For Westerly, Sara Arnold recorded 4 aces and 5 digs and Alex Stoehr had 12 digs.

East Providence 3, Bay View 0 (25-16, 25-21, 26-24)

The Townies got strong performances from Keira Mullen (9 kills, 2 blocks) and Daniella Escudero (12 digs 7 aces) and that helped them win their seventh match without a loss on Tuesday. Ella Rwenzo had 6 kills and 3 aces for the Bengals, who slip to 2-4.

Barrington 3, Exeter-West Greenwich 1 (18-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-12)

Sophia Denham's 9 kills and 2 aces and Kasey Dillon's 7 kills and 10 aces helped Barrington come back from a 1-0 deficit to beat EWG. For the Scarlet Knights, Hannah Pearson posted 8 kills, 2 assists, 1 ace and 2 digs and Madison Andrade garnered 8 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 kills in the loss.

Pilgrim 3, Johnston 1 (24-26, 25-23, 25-18, 25-22)

Pilgrim's Kayli Sherlock led the Patriots with 12 kills, 2 blocks and a pair of aces, while teammate Avery Donovan had 3 aces. The win pushes Pilgrim to 2-4 in league play.

Ponaganset 3, St. Raphael 2 (19-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-9)

Ava DiFiore had 8 aces, 2 kills and 16 assists, Kait Campbell recorded 10 kills and 8 digs and Lillian Racine had 5 blocks as the Chieftains escaped witha 3-2 win over St. Raphael. The Saints got solid performances from Sadie Lallier (15 kills), Morgan Fontaine (33 digs) and Olivia DeMaseto (27 assists).

North Smithfield 3, Cranston West 2 (15-25, 23-25, 25-12, 25-21, 17-15).

Trailing 2-0, North Smithfield rallied behind the play of Grace Trowbridge (6 kills, 6 aces), Sophia Majeau (10 kills), Abby Roden (5 aces) to slip past Cranston West. The Falcons Natalie Brandrow and Olivia Venagro combined for 8 kills, 3 aces and 19 assists.

Division III

Tolman 3, Tiverton 1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-15, 25-23)

Tolman's trio of Davina Kodua (3 aces, 13 assists, 8 digs), Sellymar Garcia (6 kills, 7 aces, 11 digs) and Trinity Burk (6 kills, 4 digs, 2 blocks) proved to be more than Tiverton could handle and the D-III B Tigers prevailed. The III-A Tigers were led by Julia Polofsky, who had 10 kills and 9 digs and Elisha Condon, who had 6 aces and 20 assists. Tolman improves to 7-0 while Tiverton falls to 1-4.

Division IV

PCD 3, Achievement First 0 (25-5, 25-12, 25-8)

Lana Kooloian swung for 22 aces, Ada Weatherby contributed with 8 aces and 10 assists and Brady Harrington had 7 digs and 3 assists as Country Day cruised. NyAsia Cruz had 2 aces and Jasmine Gough-Brown had 2 kills for Achievement.
