High school football Week 5 schedule for Acadiana teams
There were some big wins in the Acadiana area last week. And some high school football teams suffered some heartbreaking losses in high-profile contests.
St. Thomas More continues to stockpiles big-time wins, defeating Catholic-Baton Rouge at home last week. Teurlings Catholic got back on the right track against old rival Notre Dame Friday and Rayne knocked off Kaplan to open the season, 3-1.
Lafayette Christian and star Ju'Juan Johnson on the other hand, were handed their first defeat, losing a heartbreaker at Ruston, 29-26. Opelousas fell at St. Amant.
