High school boys lacrosse: Section 9 tournament scores, roundups and schedules
Eleven teams have earned spots in the Section 9 boys lacrosse tournament. The top seeds are Pine Bush in Class A, Warwick in Class B, Highland in Class C and James I. O'Neill in Class D (the Raiders are the only team entered and declared champion).
There are three semifinal games on Wednesday, May 22, and one on Thursday, May 23. All three contested finals will be Saturday, May 25, at Middletown High School.
In the 2023 finals, No. 1 Monroe-Woodbury beat No. 2 Kingston in Class A; No. 1 Warwick beat No. 3 Valley Central in Class B; No. 2 Our Lady of Lourdes beat No. 1 Red Hook in Class C; and No. 1 James I. O'Neill was declared champ as the only team in Class D.

In the 2023 state tournament, all four Section 9 champs bowed to the Section 2 (Capital Region) winners (in the first round: Monroe-Woodbury lost to Shenendehowa; Warwick lost to Niskayuna; Lourdes lost to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake; and, O'Neill lost to Schuylerville.
