Here's the Rockford Register Star high school sports Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-27

Jefferson wrestler Kylie Eilken won the Rockford Register Star's high school sports Athlete of the Week honor for the week of Jan. 22-27.

Eilken climbed to 15-4 on the season and used two pins and an injury default to soar to the Minooka Regional championship at 190 pounds. She advanced to girls sectionals for the first time in her career. She then earned just under 30 percent of the votes in the AOW poll to win the honor. Byron's Jack Hively came in a close second.
