Here's the latest update on Joe Burrow's recovery from wrist surgery

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor confirmed that franchise quarterback Joe Burrow is back in the building after undergoing season-ending surgery on his wrist on Monday.

"It's good to have him back in the building," Taylor said.

Taylor opted not to divulge any further information on the injury or the surgery. The location of where the procedure was and the surgeon who performed it is undisclosed. The Bengals, and Taylor, have opted not to publicly share any details on the process.

However, they did release the following statement on Monday night:

“Joe Burrow underwent successful surgery on his wrist today. The procedure went as planned and he is expected to make a complete recovery. Joe will return to Cincinnati this week to be with the team and begin the recovery and rehab process.”

The Enquirer has requested details on the location and doctor who performed Burrow's surgery, which the Bengals and Taylor have not provided. This situation is different than when Burrow had his knee surgery in 2020, Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed the procedure in Los Angeles and the information was made public.

"All of the details we've released are the details we'll release," Taylor specifically stated on the matter.

Burrow, who suffered the injury on Nov. 16, was seen walking out to view practice and was also present in the Bengals' locker room talking with his teammates with a black sling on his right arm.
