Here's what to know about the Packers 2023 schedule, OTAs, mandatory minicamp and more

The NFL draft is in the books and that means all attention can now officially turn to the Green Bay Packers' 2023 season.

The Packers' first game isn't for more than four months but there's always something to circle on the NFL calendar.

Here are the key dates to know.

When will the Packers schedule be announced?

The Packers have known their 2023 opponents for months and they'll learn the complete schedule with times, dates and TV assignments next week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the NFL will release the entire 2023 schedule on May 11. The NFL has made the schedule release a made-for-TV event.

In addition to home and away games with the three NFC North teams, the Packers play all four teams in the AFC West and NFC South and based on their third-place finish in their division last season they'll face the third-place finishers from the NFC West (Los Angeles Rams), NFC East (New York Giants) and AFC North (Pittsburgh Steelers).

With Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback over the last 15 years, the Packers played in their fair share of primetime games. Now that Rodgers is in New York, will that still be the case? The Packers are still a global brand and there's plenty of intrigue around Jordan Love so don't expect them to leave the national spotlight.

Packers OTAs are first up from May-June

The Packers' offseason program is underway. Players have already been back at the team’s facility for a couple weeks taking part in strength and conditioning as well as on-field workouts.

Rookie mini camp is first this month. Then organized team activities are next.

Per the name, these aren't mandatory, but with so many young players on the Packers roster, especially on the offensive side of the ball, you would expect high attendance. Moreover, many veterans have built in bonuses to their contracts if they participate in OTAs.

OTAs run from May 22-23, 25; May 30-31 and June 2; and June 5-6, 8.

When is the Packers' mandatory minicamp?

Mandatory minicamp is set for June 13-15.

When does Packers training camp begin?

After mandatory minicamp breaks, players won't reconvene until the start of training camp at the end of July.

When is Packers Family Night 2023?

The team hasn't announced the date but it will be either the first Friday or Saturday in August. That would mean Family Night would be Aug. 4 or 5.
