Hear Dan Miller's radio call as Detroit Lions clinch first NFC North title in 30 years

The Detroit Lions officially clinched the NFC North on Sunday, and needless to say, Dan Miller, the team's play-by-play announcer, was pumped.

It's been 30 years of mostly disappointments and seemingly endless heartbreaks since the Lions last won their division in 1993. Back then, it was the NFC Central that the Lions won, meaning until Sunday, the Lions had never won the NFC North, which was created in 2002.

Since joining the Lions play-by-play team back in 2005, Miller has been right there with the fans for so many of the dire moments. From the 0-16 winless season to Aaron Rodgers' miracle Hail Mary at Ford Field, Miller has been on the mic, delivering those devastating moments to Lions fans who were catching the game on the radio.

On Sunday, it was finally time for Miller to help the Lions fans bask in the glory, as the team held on for a roller coaster 30-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings.

With the Vikings driving late, quarterback Nick Mullens dropped back and tried to find superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson deep, but was intercepted by Ifeatu Melifonwu, who also had two sacks, five tackles, and two pass breakups on the day.

"This is going to be over," Miller shouted as Melifonwu slid to the ground after the interception. "Lions are going to win it. Lions are bringing the NFC North title back to Detroit."
