Hawks at Lakers: Lineups, injury reports, early broadcast info for Saturday

The Los Angeles Lakers have been playing arguably the best basketball they’ve played since losing Anthony Davis in mid-February. But now they welcome the hottest team in the NBA to the Staples Center for a Saturday afternoon matinee.

The Atlanta Hawks were well on their way to being the biggest disappointment of this NBA season. After spending more money in free agency than any other team, in a push to build a winner around point guard Trae Young, they ended up firing head coach Lloyd Pierce at the start of this month. But after hiring veteran winner Nate McMillan, who was fired by the Indiana Pacers. Since hiring McMillan, the Hawks have done what McMillan’s teams have usually done during his coaching career: win.

The Hawks have won seven straight games, which has been boosted by the coaching change and health. Bogdan Bogdanovic, their biggest free agent acquisition, is finally back in the lineup and swingman DeAndre Hunter is also getting closer to a return.

Here’s when you should tune in to see the game:

  • Date: March 20

  • Time: 3:30 p.m. ET

  • TV Channel: Spectrum SportsNet, Fox Sports Southeast
