Gritty makes a cameo on episode of 'The Simpsons'
Just when you thought he’d done it all, Gritty took another step towards world domination by making a cameo on the long-running series The Simpsons on Sunday.
The Philadelphia Flyers mascot appeared on the "Treehouse of Horror" episode, marking the series’ 30th instalment of Halloween-themed episodes. Gritty looked a bit different without his flaming orange fur, but was recognizable nonetheless in purple and green on the small screen.

Gritty’s cameo happened during a scene where Homer Simpson dies too early and is able to choose a body to return to Earth in through an app in the short titled "Heaven Swipes Right.”
Knowing the prankster that Gritty is and the history of The Simpsons predicting future storylines, it’s almost a guarantee we’ll see the mascot don a green Flyers jersey and tint his fur in the upcoming weeks. Halloween is only 10 days away.
