Greg McElroy set to join ESPN’s primetime crew for 2023 college football season

Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy is quickly becoming one of the most popular college football analysts in the country. After being the Crimson Tide’s starting QB for two seasons and winning a national championship, McElroy would spend a couple of seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets before moving into the sports media profession in 2014.

At the age of 35, McElroy has now received a massive promotion from ESPN. It was announced on Wednesday that the former Tide star would join Sean McDonough and Molly McGrath for ESPN’s primetime games on Saturday night for the 2023 college football season.

Alabama’s Week 2 matchup with Texas is set to air on ESPN at 6:00 p.m. CT but no official word has been made that McElroy will be on the call for his former team or not.
