Sportico is proud to announce another addition to our SXSW Podcast Stage Lineup: Green Light with Chris Long. Join us at the Four Seasons Austin on Sunday, March 10^th for an exclusive live taping of the show.

The Sportico Podcast Stage at SXSW will be returning for a second year of Sports Track programming, featuring some of the top podcasts in the industry from 3:30 – 7:00pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday on the East Lawn at the Four Seasons Austin.

Green Light with Chris Long

Former NFL player Chris Long, his brother Kyle, his best friend Macon, and Dr. Fax bring you an expert look at all things NFL and a novice look at everything else. The show features interviews with the biggest names in sports and entertainment, occasional digressions into the absurd and frequent lapses in judgment. “Green Light with Chris Long” is a production of Yote House Media, which Long founded in 2023. Join us for a live taping of the show on Sunday, March 10^th at 6pm.

Long, a two-time Super Bowl winner, was awarded the 2018 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his charity endeavors and social justice work. The former defensive end attended the University of Virginia from 2004-2007 and made All-American his senior season before being selected second overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. Long went on to play eight of his eleven NFL seasons in St. Louis before finishing with the New England Patriots (2016) and the Philadelphia Eagles (2017-18).

After football, Chris launched the ‘Green Light with Chris Long’ podcast to bring unique and direct commentary on the NFL and football in general while discussing music, news and pop culture. Celebrity, athlete and artist interviews round out the programming. In addition to ‘Green Light with Chris Long,’ Chris runs the Chris Long Foundation, a global non-profit that works to bring clean water and education to underserved communities domestic and abroad. He is the son of NFL Hall of Famer and Fox football analyst Howie Long.
