Greater Lansing high school basketball: See the boys and girls power rankings for Jan. 22

Here is a look at the high school boys and girls basketball power rankings in Greater Lansing through Jan. 20 contests.

BOYS

Big school

(Division 1-2)

1. East Lansing

Record: 11-0

▶ Michigan Power Rating (MPR): .720

Trojans have the second-best MPR in the state of all teams, regardless of class, and picked up wins last week over DeWitt and East Kentwood.

2. Okemos

Wolves stretched their winning streak to three by knocking off Holt in their lone game last week to remain unbeaten in CAAC Blue play.

3. Waverly

Record: 9-3

The Warriors knocked off Grand Ledge in their lone game last week.

4. Mason

Record: 10-2

▶ MPR: .567

The Bulldogs have won four straight and have a two-game lead In the CAAC Red over St. Johns and Williamston.

5. DeWitt

Record: 9-3

▶ MPR: .621

The Panthers split their games last week, beating Haslett before dropping a contest to East Lansing.

Wolfpack had wins by double figures over Dansville and Bat last week to remain unbeaten ahead of a scheduled big home game against P-W on Tuesday.

2. Pewamo-Westphalia

Record: 9-1

▶ MPR: .618

The Pirates picked up a road win over Perry to remain just behind Laingsburg in the CMAC standings.

3. Stockbridge

Record: 10-4

▶ MPR: .565

The Panthers picked up wins over Grass Lake and Reading last week.

4. Fowler

Record: 7-5

▶ MPR: .536

The Eagles have won three straight and knocked off Lansing Christian and Saranac last week.

5. Ovid-Elsie

Record: 7-3

The Marauders have won three straight and are second in the MMAC.

The Raiders rolled to a CAAC White win over Charlotte in their lone game last week.

The Bees are the lone remaining unbeaten team in Greater Lansing and knocked off Laingsburg in their lone game last week.

The Eagles are on a nine-game winning streak and in their lone game last week defeated Saranac.

3. Portland St. Patrick

Record: 7-2

The Shamrocks had a big week, knocking off Ovid-Elsie and Dansville.

4. Ovid-Elsie

Record: 9-1

▶ MPR: .659

The Maruaders bounced back from a Monday loss to Portland St. Patrick with wins over Otisville LakeVille Memorial and Petoskey.

5. Leslie

Record: 8-2

The Blackhawks have won four straight and picked up wins last week over Homer and Grass Lake.
