Gordo's Ethan Wilder scores 5 TDs to top Tuscaloosa area top performers

Here are the Tuscaloosa area high school football top performers for Week 6 of AHSAA and AISA action, along with volleyball top performers.

Thursday's games

Greene County's Ronald Wilder scored a touchdown and tallied 150 yards rushing in a 36-14 loss to Sulligent.

Greene County's Shayla Hill's defensive play included two sacks and five tackles.

Greene County's Tyquan Underwood led with eight tackles.

Sulligent's AJ Lowe ran for 195 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries in the 36-14 win over Greene County.

Sulligent's Hunter Wood hauled in three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Friday's games

Aliceville's Keanthony Wilder ran the ball 21 times for 211 yards and two touchdowns and completed 6 of 10 passes for 116 yards and two more touchdowns in a 36-32 win against Lamar County.

Aliceville's Tyquan Simon's had four receptions for a total of 95 yards, including two catches for touchdowns.

American Christian Academy's Kai Young passed for two touchdowns, completing 6 of 11 throws for 63 yards, in a 64-14 win against Dallas County.

American Christian Academy's Jackson Willingham's six rushes for 80 yards included a touchdown run.

Bibb County's Jay Harris scored on runs from 33 and six yards in a 44-8 win against Hale County.

Bibb County's Jordan Leverette completed 5 of 8 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns and ran the ball four times for a total of 28 yards.

Demopolis's Keishawn Rowser scored two touchdowns on the ground in a 21-0 win against Shelby County in a game where the Tigers' defense held Shelby County to a total of 29 yards.

Fayette County's Cooper Sanford led the defense with 11 tackles and four assists in a 24-6 loss to Oakman.

Fayette County's Dylan Schloerb scored the team's lone touchdown. He carried the ball six times for a total of 69 yards and grabbed three passes for a total of 19 yards and had five tackles and two assists.

Gordo's Ethan Wilder scored five times in a 63-0 win against Carbon Hill. He opened with a 56-yard touchdown run, followed by a 3-yard run, a 23-yard interception return for a touchdown, a 20-yard fumble return for a touchdown and a blocked punt he returned to the endzone for a score. His scoring was all in the first half. He ran the ball twice, resulting in both rushing touchdowns.

Gordo quarterback Jase Neel completed 4 of 5 passes with no interceptions for a total of 73 yards.

Hale County's TJ Hatch scored on a 23-yard pass play from Antwain Zinnerman in a 44-8 loss to Bibb County.

Hillcrest's TJ Banks scored three touchdowns in a 49-14 win against Central, highlighted by a 100-yard kickoff return. He scored on a 40-yard punt return and an 11-yard run.

Hillcrest's Kahden Smith opened the game's scoring in the first quarter with a 48-7ard touchdown run.

Lamar County's Jordan Godsey ran for three touchdowns in a 36-32 loss to Aliceville.

Lamar County quarterback Alexander Bradford connected on 19 of 28 attempts for 182 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.

Northside's Jackson Rhodes threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns in the 32-27 loss to Corner.

Northside's Eddie Taylor Thompson ran for 56 yards and one touchdown.

Northside's Devin Guin hauled in three passes for 126 yards and one touchdown.

Sipsey Valley's LJ Cormier had nearly 300 passing yards with three passing touchdowns in the 21-20 loss to Montevallo.

Sipsey Valley's Wyatt Bailey had two touchdown receptions with both catches going for more than 50 yards.

Sipsey Valley's Ayden Abernathy had a big 50 yard touchdown reception on a screen pass.

Tuscaloosa Christian's Luke Jones passed for 141 yards and three touchdowns, completing 5 of 8 attempts with one interception in a 74-36 win against Meadowview Christian. Jones ran the ball 12 times for 274 yards and five touchdowns.

Tuscaloosa Christian's Jackson Harris caught three passes, two of those for touchdowns to end his game with 123 yards.

Tuscaloosa Christian's Michael Carter led the defense with 11 tackles and a pass breakup.

Tuscaloosa County's Kevin Riley carried the ball 19 times for a total of 69 yards in a 35-14 loss to Spain Park.

Tuscaloosa County's Chardarius Hutchins scored a touchdown and carried the ball 14 times for a total of 61 yards. Jr

Tuscaloosa County's JR Solis was 2-for-2 on field goal attempts.

West Blocton's Charles Graham carried the ball 13 times for a total of 73 yards and two touchdowns in a 55-0 win against Holt.

West Blocton's Nate Barron scored two touchdowns, rushing three times for a total of 49 yards.

West Blocton's Kevin Montgomery had an 89-yard touchdown return playing on special teams.

Winfield's Keylan Hughes scored four rushing touchdowns in runs of 22 yards, 44 yards, 17 yards and 7 yards in a 52-6 win against Tarrant.

Winfield's Dangelo Bankhead was thrown the ball once, caught it, and scored on a 49-yard touchdown play.

Volleyball

University Charter School's Brinkli Woods reached her 200 kills milestone with 16 in a 2-0 win against Fayette County and a 2-0 win against South Lamar.

University Charter School's Ava LaCoste reached her 200 digs milestone and goes into this next week with 221.

University Charter School's Emory Pezent's two matches/four games found her totaling 26 assists, eight digs, two kills and four service aces for the week.
