Golf social media influencer Paige Spiranac was featured star at Brewers game
Milwaukee Brewers baseball wasn't the only sport featured at American Field Friday night: golf was front and center.
And for the Brewers' first golf night, they rolled out the red carpet for golf social media megastar Paige Spiranac as she offered up plenty of promotion throughout the evening, highlighting X-Golf at the stadium and food at the Brewers' newest restaurant.
Here's what you should know about the Brewers' Golf Night and Spiranac.
Why did the Brewers have a golf night?
It was another way for the team to promote one of their newer non-baseball activities at the stadium. The Brewers opened X-Golf America late last season in the ballpark's former Stadium Club space on the Club Level above left field.
The 11,000-square-foot facility includes several golf simulators across two floors and offers more than 50 courses for people to play on during game days and non-game days. American Family Field is the only sports stadium that offers X-Golf.
This was the first time the Brewers hosted a golf theme night.

Were there any special promotions for Brewers' golf night?
Yes, if you bought a special theme night ticket package you received a Paige Spiranac bobblehead. The bobblehead features Spiranac in Brewers blue and gold colors.
Spiranac is an X-Golf ambassador who has built a huge social media empire.
Tickets for the package were only available in select locations: Field Outfield Box, Loge Outfield Box, Terrace Box, Terrace Reserved Infield and Terrace Reserved Outfield.
Tickets started at $21 for Terrace Reserved Outfield.
Who is Paige Spiranac?
Spiranac is a former collegiate golf star who dabbled with the professional tour before turning her attention to becoming a golf social media influencer over the last several years.
She has over 3.8 million Instagram followers, 3.7 million Facebook followers, 1.5 million TikTok followers, 885,800 Twitter followers and 335,000 subscribers to her YouTube page.
Her most recent YouTube video was a recap of her "Beauty vs. Beast" charity match she had with Madison native Jerry Kelly earlier this month at Geneva National in Lake Geneva. Kelly filled in for John Daly who was unable to play due to an injury. The event raised money for Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Heart of a Lion, two organizations that support veterans.
Spiranac also plays in many celebrity events, including last year's American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, an event won by Tony Romo.
Was Spiranac at the Brewers game Friday?
Yes, Spiranac threw out one of the ceremonial first pitches before the Brewers game. There was even a "caddie," a golf bag near the mound and someone there telling the crowd to stay quiet like someone would when a golfer is hitting a shot.
Spiranac is no stranger to first pitches at American Family Field. She had the honors last year when she was in town for the opening of X-Golf in September. She also had the ceremonial "first drive" at the golf facility a day earlier.

Before the game, she was also actively promoting the ballpark's new restaurant and brewery, J. Leinenkugel’s Barrel Yard, by trying several foods and sharing her experiences on her Instagram story.
The restaurant couldn't have asked for better PR since Spiranac couldn't get enough of the restaurant's offerings.
She knew her local audience well by starting off with some cheese curds.
“Since we’re in Wisconsin it makes sense to do cheese curds," Spiranac said.
And while she's not from Wisconsin, Spiranac recognized our Friday fish fry culture.
"It’s Friday, I need my fish fry," she said before having a bite of a mammoth-sized beer-battered walleye.
"It’s bigger than my head," she said with a laugh. "We're just going to dive right in."
And she was glowing over the Four Cheese Baked Wisco Mac.
"This is Wisconsin mac and cheese, so you know it's going to be next level," she confidently said. And after taking a bite, she went back for more: "This is the best mac and cheese I've ever had."
Maybe being a Wisconsin food influencer is next up for her if that golf thing doesn't work out for her.
What else have the Brewers done for golf night?
Pitcher Colin Rea, third base coach Jason Lane and bullpen coach Jim Henderson participated in the Paige Spiranac Charity Golf Outing Thursday played through the X-Golf simulators. The event raised money for the Cybersmile Foundation, an anti-cyberbullying nonprofit.
