Golden State Warriors fans throw things at Charles Barkley during 'Inside the NBA'
Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has spent the bulk of the Western Conference finals dissing Golden State Warriors fans and the city of San Francisco.
But what seemed like a mostly playful feud became a lot less funny Thursday night during the season finale of "Inside the NBA." During the TNT postgame show outside the Chase Center following the Warriors' 120-110 victory over the Dallas Mavericks – which secured another Western Conference crown for Golden State – celebrating fans behind the desk began throwing items toward the stage seemingly in the direction of Barkley.
Barkley, never afraid to mix it up on the court or on TV, stood up after what appeared to be a T-shirt grazed his face. He grabbed something off the desk and pump-faked repeatedly as if he was going to throw the item at the crowd while Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith pleaded with him to sit down. Barkley appeared to be smirking as he turned back to the camera a few times.

Before Game 2, Barkley said he was pulling for the Mavericks because he hates Warriors fans, calling them "obnoxious" and a "pain in the ass."
"I just want to see these people suffer," Barkley said then.
Kenny Smith: "Why do you think the Mavs are the best team?"
Charles Barkley: "I don't think they're the best team. I just can't pick the Warriors because I hate their fans. Their fans are obnoxious... I just wanna see these people suffer."

Before Game 5, fans outside Chase Center started up robust "Chuck you suck," chants.

There did not appear to be any further incidents following Barkley's tense moment with the crowd. Eventually, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green joined the show for an interview, and by the end of the night Shaquille O'Neal ventured out into the crowd.
