Girls basketball roundup: Portland St. Patrick claims share of CMAC title

BATH ― Laynie Meredith notched a game-high 14 points to help the Shamrocks claim a share of the CMAC title with a victory over Bath. Rylee Scheurer notched 13 points and Gracelyn Rockey scored 11 points and hauled in six rebounds for Portland St. Patrick (19-2, 16-1). Aubri Torok finished with a team-high 13 points, Aubrie Schaibly tallied 11 points and nine rebounds and Abby Smith added 10 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Bees (16-5, 12-5).

FOWLER 61, DANSVILLE 39

DANSVILLE ― Katie Spicer and Grace O'Hare led the way with 15 points for the Eagles in their CMAC win. Dansville's Megan Zeitz had a game-high 17 points and Izzy Joseph finished with 10 points.

PORTLAND 63, FLINT CARMAN-AINSWORTH 43

PORTLAND ― Malia Thelen had a game-high 16 points to lead the Raiders (18-1) in their nonleague win. Lilly Thelen added 12 points and Summer Stopcyznski had 10 points for Portland.

PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 32, LAINGSBURG 24

LAINGSBURG ― Brynn Bauer picked up a game-high 15 points to lead the Pirates to a CMAC road win over Laingsburg. Alonna Thelen tacked on seven points for Pewamo-Westphalia (13-7, 12-5). Callie Clark and Mallory Woodbury each scored five points for the Wolfpack (11-9, 9-8). JV score: Pewamo-Westphalia d. Laingsburg

MORRICE 63, BURTON BENDLE 16

Aubrey Rogers had a triple-double with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals to lead the Orioles in their win. Payton Goodine added 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Morrice.

IONIA 55, LAKEWOOD 45

IONIA ― Lexie Daugherty tallied a game-high 18 points to lead the Bulldogs to a CAAC White home win over Lakewood. Logan Thomas chipped in 14 points and Aubree White picked up nine points, six rebounds, five assists and five steals for Ionia (7-13, 4-10). Sydney Tefft notched a team-high 13 points and Alivia Everitt tacked on 10 points for the Vikings (10-10, 7-7).

EATON RAPIDS 47, CHARLOTTE 27

EATON RAPIDS ― Kylie Alvarez finished with a team-high 11 points and dished out four assists to help guide the Greyhounds to a CAAC White home victory over Charlotte (5-16, 5-9). Elle Lorente notched nine points and hauled in 13 rebounds, Avah Vozar scored nine points and Leah Steffen pulled down six rebounds for Eaton Rapids (5-16, 4-10).

WILLIAMSTON 32, MASON 19

MASON ― Reese Gaytan picked up a game-high nine points to lead the Hornets to a CAAC Red road win over Mason. Anna Judit tacked on eight points for Williamston (16-4, 10-0). Josie Lator finished with a team-high eight points for the Bulldogs (11-8, 5-5).

ST. JOHNS 49, FOWLERVILLE 28

ST. JOHNS ― Isabel Thelen led all scorers with 14 points to lead the Redwings to a CAAC Red win over Fowlerville. Lily Sackrider and Joce Kotowicz each tacked on eight points for St. Johns (10-10, 5-5). Mariah Kirby finished with a team-high 11 points for the Gladiators (7-13, 2-8).

HASLETT 70, EASTERN 15

HASLETT ― Durgen McIntosh finished with a team-high 17 points to help the Vikings secure a CAAC Red win over Eastern. Kaitlyn Johnson picked up 16 points, Avery Hannah scored 10 points and Jadelyn Trotter tacked on nine for Haslett (14-7, 8-2). Nevaeh Reed and Vivian Kilero each had four points for the Quakers (5-16, 0-10). JV score: Haslett d. Eastern

LANSING CHRISTIAN 43, PERRY 36

Lydia Brogan led all scorers with 20 points to help guide the Pilgrims to a CMAC home win over Perry. Ava Mustapha chipped in 10 points for Lansing Christian (10-11, 6-11). Abigail Cochrane scored a team-high 12 points and Neela Wilson added eight points for the Ramblers (5-16, 2-15).

OVID-ELSIE 67, CHESANING 34

CHESANING ― Braeden Tokar finished with a team-high 14 points and dished out five assists to lead the Marauders to a MMAC road win over Chesaning (5-14, 2-10). Alyson Moore and Ellyanna Carman each scored 13 points, Hailee Campbell scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds and Evalyn Cole added seven points, six assists and five steals for Ovid-Elsie (18-2, 12-0).

LANSING CATHOLIC 62, OLIVET 17

The Cougars captured a share of the CAAC White title with their home win over Olivet.

ST. LOUIS 46, ITHACA 30

ITHACA -- Libby Maurer notched a team-high 18 points for the Yellowjackets in a TVC White loss to St. Louis (17-4, 7-1). Karly Whitmore added five points for Ithaca (7-13, 4-4).
