UND 1, U.S. Under-18 Team 0 — Jackson Blake (Abram Wiebe, Cameron Berg) 3:50. UND converts its first power-play chance of the game. After Blake draws a tripping call on Kristian Epperson, he gets rewarded with the goal. Moments after Jayden Perron rockets a one-timer off the post, Blake snipes one through a Jackson Kunz screen from the left circle.
UND 2, U.S. Under-18 Team 0 — Logan Britt (Michael Emerson, Ben Strinden) 2:54. Emerson sends a pass to Britt, who carries it up the left side. Britt flips what looks like a harmless shot, but it deflects off USA defenseman Will Skahan and through the five-hole of USA goalie Jack Parsons.
UND 2, U.S. Under-18 Team 1 — James Hagens 8:47. USA starts a good shift by pinning the Gaber-McLaughlin-Blake line in the zone. Although UND got a line change, USA quickly turned the puck the other way and scored shortly thereafter when Hagens sniped one from the right circle.
