GameCenter final: UND 5, Bemidji State 0

Nov. 25—GRAND FORKS — North Dakota natives Dane Montgomery, Ben Strinden and Jackson Kunz all scored goals, while Ludvig Persson stopped 29 shots to lead UND to a 5-0 win over Bemidji State. Jackson Blake and Garrett Pyke also scored for UND, which won its seventh-straight game.

First star: Ludvig Persson, UND, 29 saves, 1 assist.

Second star: Dane Montgomery, UND, 1 goal.

Third star: Ben Strinden, UND, 1 goal, 4 blocked shots.

UND 1, Bemidji State 0 — Dane Montgomery 1 (Griffin Ness, Bennett Zmolek) 4:37. Zmolek taps a loose puck to Ness in the left corner. Ness spots Montgomery on top of the crease, makes the pass and Montgomery tips it home for his first goal of the season, second of his career and first in The Ralph.

UND 2, Bemidji State 0 — Jackson Blake 10 (Jake Livanavage, Cameron Berg) 5:13 (pp). UND's power play gets rewarded for putting a puck toward the net. Blake shoots one from the high slot. It goes off of Bemidji State defenseman Tony Follmer and in the net to make it 2-0.

UND 3, Bemidji State 0 — Ben Strinden 3 14:05. Strinden gets rewarded for his good weekend, scoring on a rush up the right side. Strinden dips below a Beaver defender to get position, fakes a forehand shot, moves it to the backhand and flips it in.

UND 4, Bemidji State 0 — Jackson Kunz 1 (Logan Britt, Ludvig Persson) 15:05. Kunz and Montgomery skate on a two-on-one. Kunz takes the shot, Enright makes the save, but Kunz follows it up and scores.

UND 5, Bemidji State 0 — Garrett Pyke 1 (Riese Gaber, Jackson Blake) 18:28. UND tacks on one more goal as Gaber shovels a pass to Pyke in the left circle. Pyke one-times it past Enright for his first UND goal.
