GameCenter final: UND 3, Bemidji State 2, OT

Nov. 24—GRAND FORKS — Jackson Blake scored his second overtime winner of the season — this one 50 seconds into the extra frame — to give No. 1 UND a 3-2 win over Bemidji State in the series opener. Cameron Berg scored the other two goals for the Fighting Hawks, who moved to 10-2-1.

First star: Cameron Berg, UND, 2 goals.

Second star: Jackson Blake, UND, game-winning goal.

Third star: Jackson Jutting, Bemidji State, 1 goal.

Bemidji State 1, UND 0 — Kasper Magnussen 2 (Lleyton Roed, Carter Jones) 1:19. For just the second time this season, UND gives up the first goal of the game and it comes on an awkward play. With Roed and Magnussen skating the puck on a rush, a puck is bouncing in front of UND defenseman Bennett Zmolek. He can't quite clear it and it ends up on Magnussen's stick. He puts it home in the open side of the net for his second of the season.

Bemidji State 2, UND 0 — Jackson Jutting 6 (Alexander Lundman, Kyle Looft) 17:30. Bemidji State survives a length shift in the defensive zone, then comes down the other way and scores. Jutting has the puck in the left circle and squeezes one past UND goalie Ludvig Persson.

Bemidji State 2, UND 1 — Cameron Berg 3 18:05. UND has a quick answer for Jutting's goal. Berg picks off a pass, skates to the top of the right circle and snaps one off the far post and in for his third of the season.

No scoring.

Bemidji State 2, UND 2 — Cameron Berg 4 (Hunter Johannes) 5:18. Bemidji State forward Lleyton Roed turns the puck over in the neutral zone to Johannes, who goes the other way. Johannes, skating up the middle, dishes it to Berg at the top of the right circle. Berg one-times it off of Enright and in the net. Judging by his reaction, it's one Enright wants back.

UND 3, Bemidji State 2 — Jackson Blake 9 (Jake Livanavage, Owen McLaughlin) :50. Blake gets his second overtime winner of the season. Cameron Berg wins the draw and UND has possession for the entire 50 seconds. Blake throws a drop pass for Livanavage, who skates into space, the leaves a no-look backdoor feed for Blake. The UND sophomore finishes it.
