Dec. 2—DENVER, Colo. — Carter King scored on a rebound of a Massimo Rizzo shot at 3:06 of overtime to give the Pioneers a 3-2 win and a series split. Zeev Buium had a goal and two assists for Denver. Cameron Berg led UND with a goal and an assist.

UND 1, Denver 0 — Cameron Berg 7 (Jake Livanavage, Jackson Blake) 15:13 (pp). UND gets on the board first, taking advantage to a major penalty for checking from behind on Sam Harris. Livanavage at the top of the zone, dishes it to Berg at the top of the right circle. Berg rips one past Freddie Halyk's glove for his third goal of the weekend.
UND 1, Denver 1 — Aidan Thompson 3 (Jared Wright, Zeev Buium) 4:38. UND defenseman Abram Wiebe gets caught pinching in the neutral zone and Denver takes advantage with a two-on-one. Thompson wires one from the left circle past UND goalie Ludvig Persson's glove to tie it.
UND 2, Denver 1 — Hunter Johannes 7 (Cameron Berg, Garrett Pyke) 3:08. Johannes starts the the play in the defensive zone chipping a puck around a Denver defender, sending Berg on a rush. Berg makes a drop pass to Johannes, who snipes it glove side on Halyk.
UND 2, Denver 2 — Zeev Buium 5 (Aidan Thompson, Tristan Lemyre) 11:05. Thompson circles the net and sends a pass to Buium, who snipes one through traffic to tie it.
Denver 3, UND 2 — Carter King 10 (Massimo Rizzo, Zeev Buium) 3:06. UND turns the puck over at the offensive blue line and Denver goes the other way on a two-on-one. Buium feeds Rizzo for a shot. Persson makes an incredible save, but King is there to score on the rebound.
