UND 1, Boston University 0 — Jackson Blake 4 (Jake Schmaltz, Owen McLaughlin) 4:18. UND jumps out to an early lead when Jackson Blake gets the puck in the right circle, pulls the puck toward him to change the angle and snaps one five-hole on Mathieu Caron. It's one Caron will want back.
UND 1, Boston University 1 — Dylan Peterson 3 (Shane Lachance, Ty Gallagher) 16:33. Boston University ties it up after sustained pressure in the offensive zone. Eventually, Lachance gets it along the halfwall, skates it below the dot and to the side of the crease, where he flips a backhand off of Dylan Peterson and in.
Boston University 2, UND 1 — Lane Hutson (Macklin Celebrini, Jeremy Wilmer) 12:41 (pp). UND's Jackson Kunz and Jake Schmaltz take penalties two seconds apart to give BU a five-on-three for 1:58. The Terriers take advantage quick when Hutson gets the puck in the right circle and snaps a shot past Persson.
Boston University 2, UND 2 — Ben Strinden (Logan Britt, Abram Wiebe) 13:07 (sh). UND answers immediately as Strinden carries the puck in the zone with Dylan James. James drives the net, but without a lane to get him the pass, Strinden cuts back and skates past Lane Hutson, then snipes a shorthanded goal to tie it.
Boston University 3, UND 2 — Luke Tuch 4 (Devin Kaplan, Jack Hughes) 4:19 (pp). The Terriers add a second power-play goal to take the lead. Kaplan gets the puck at the bottom of the circle and looks to make a cross-crease feed to Tuch. UND defenseman Logan Britt goes down to block it, but Kaplan manages to get the puck around Britt and to Tuch, who has an easy tap-in.
