Game Balls: Top performers for Week 4 of the Southwest Florida high school football season

Week 4 brought us two days of football with games split between Thursday and Friday.

No matter, the stars shone just as brightly on both nights.

Here are some of the players and performances that stood out to us as we hand out our Week 4 Game Balls.

T.J. Abrams, Dunbar

Abrams caught a 38-yard touchdown pass, scored on a 2-yard run, and caught the game-winning two-point conversion against the Green Wave.

Niko Boyce, Barron Collier

Boyce threw for 153 yards and four scores as Barron Collier easily defeated Bonita Springs.

Andre Devine, North Fort Myers

Devine ran for 124 yards and three touchdowns in North Fort Myers' 34-33 loss to Lemon Bay.

Eric Fletcher, Dunbar

The senior receiver caught a 16-yard touchdown, a 4-yarder on fourth down in overtime, and returned a punt 85 yards for a score.

Isaac Garcia, Palmetto Ridge

The sophomore caught seven passes for 97 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 47 yards on eight carries for the Bears against Hardee.

Cole Hayes, Riverdale

Hayes carried 22 times for 110 yards and a touchdown against Mariner.

Victor Jenkins, South Fort Myers

Jenkins rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown, caught four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown, and had an interception against East Lee County.

Nino Joseph, Lely

The freshman carried the ball 20 times for 142 yards and a touchdown in a win against Bradenton Southeast.

Dorian Mallary, Lehigh

The Lightning quarterback went 7-of-14 passing for 190 yards and three scores and ran 13 times for 92 yards.

Chris McFoley, Fort Myers

The senior QB threw for 126 yards and one touchdown and also rushed for both Green Wave scores in the overtimes.

Bradley Martino, Golden Gate

Martino made a crucial fourth-quarter interception and then caught a 25-yard touchdown pass on the ensuing drive to give the Titans an 8-point lead.

Sam Powell, Golden Gate

Powell scored on a quarterback sneak and threw for 94 yards and two touchdown passes as the Titans handed Naples its first home loss to a Collier Co. opponent since 2009.

Austin Price, Dunbar

The Tigers QB threw a touchdown pass to sophomore Javirin Singleton and then scrambled to find T.J. Abrams for the game-winning two-point conversion to lift the Tigers over Fort Myers. Price also threw TD passes earlier in the game to Abrams and Eric Fletcher.

Isaac Santamaria, LaBelle

The senior running back had 11 carries for 156 yards and a pair of electric touchdowns and threw a touchdown pass with a 19-yard strike to William Smith in the Cowboys' win over Gateway Charter.

Carter Smith, Bishop Verot

The senior QB completed 16-of-24 passes for 226 yards and three scores and carried the ball nine times for 43 yards and another touchdown.

Noah Tolbert, Mariner

Tolbert threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns, rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, and ran in a two-point conversion in the Tritons' win over Riverdale.

Madrid Tucker, Fort Myers

Tucker scored on a 26-yard run, an 18-yard pass, and ran in a two-point conversion against Dunbar.

Trannon Villarreal, Immokalee

The Immokalee QB ran for two scores and threw for another as Redwood captured a victory at home against Lake Placid.
