Galion ranked No. 7 in Division III in first OHSVCA state poll

Galion could get used to this.

The inaugural Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association state poll was released Sunday night and the Tigers found themselves as the lone county representative.

Coming in at No. 7 in Division III, Galion is 10-1 with its lone loss coming at the St. Henry Invitational falling 2-0 to the hosts who landed three spots ahead of the Tigers at No. 4.

MOAC foe Highland is No. 13 in Division II and Monroeville is at No. 16 in Division IV, Galion has 3-0 and 3-1 wins against them respectively.

Potential district tournament opponents Huron (ninth) and Willard (T-20th) were also ranked in Division III, Galion beat Huron in the district championship last season to advance to regionals.
