FSU vs Pittsburgh baseball score updates: Follow live from Friday's ACC game

The Florida State baseball team kicks off its last road trip of the season tonight at Pittsburgh. They do so while Tallahassee starts to recover from powerful storms that included a possible tornado that damaged their home field, Dick Howser Stadium.

No. 7 FSU (36-10, 14-9 in ACC) enters the game off a walk-off win in the 11th inning against Jacksonville. The Seminoles average nearly 9 runs per game, good for 17th in the nation through Wednesday's games. That offense is led by slugger James Tibbs III (70 RBIs, tied for sixth) and Cam Smith, who has reached base in 56 consecutive games. Pitt (21-25, 6-18) comes in with the worst record in the ACC and has yet to win a conference series.

Tonight's probable starters are Jamie Arnold (8-2, 2.37 ERA) for the Seminoles and Ryan Andrade (1-4, 7.55 ERA) for the Panthers. Arnold's ERA was below 1.00 through March, but he's had a rougher go of it lately, giving up a season-high six runs (five earned) last Friday against NC State. Andrade had his best game last week against Notre Dame, throwing 7⅓ innings of one-run ball, giving up five hits and two walks while striking out seven.
