Four-star Kansas edge rusher gets USC offer
Jayden Woods is a 6-3, 220-pound four-star edge rusher from Shawnee, Kan. He is the son of former Kansas State cornerback Justin Woods.
The Kansas native from Mill Valley High School has offers from Baylor, Oregon, Purdue, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, and now the USC Trojans. The Men of Troy have offered the four-star defensive end.
The class of 2025 star had 51 total tackles, 6 sacks, and three fumbles last season.
There are lots of USC recruitments of defensive linemen. You’re seeing plenty of stories being posted here at Trojans Wire about edge rushers, interior defensive linemen, anyone who can add depth to USC’s defensive front. There’s a reason for that: Holes exist on this roster, and when the Trojans get to the Big Ten, they will need all the muscle and strength they can get to compete with Ohio State, Michigan, Luke Fickell’s Wisconsin program, and more. The USC coaching staff clearly recognizes the need to beef up this position group.
