Four-star forward Jacob Cofie Includes USC in top four

Jacob Cofie is thinking about where to play college basketball. The 6-9, 225-pound four-star power forward out of Eastside Catholic School in Sammamish, Washington, has dropped his top four schools. USC basketball has made the list alongside Virginia, Washington, and Ohio State.

Cofie is rated a four-star prospect by most of the major recruiting services. The 247Sports industry composite has Cofie ranked as the No. 88 overall recruit in the country, the No. 16 power forward in the class of 2024, and the No. 1 player in the state of Washington.

Cofie talked about the Trojans:

“USC is known for developing guys like me to have successful careers,” he said. “They have invested a lot of time coming to support me at my highschool and EYBL games. Coach Jay (Morris) is a straight shooter and always honest with me. USC has a great program that has developed many players to the next level.”

With the Trojans and Washington both moving to the Big Ten, Virginia is the only non-Big Ten program involved in this recruitment.
