Former Ravens RB Alex Collins dies at 28

The Ravens are mourning the loss of former running back Alex Collins, who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday night in his home state of Florida. He was 28.

A fifth-round pick of the Seahawks in the 2015 NFL draft out of Arkansas, the Plantation, Florida, native is one of only three running backs in SEC history to rush for 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.

Collins spent this spring playing with the USFL’s Memphis Showboats and tossed a touchdown pass against the Houston Gamblers.
