Former Penn State DL commits to 2023 opponent

It was just a week ago when Penn State defensive lineman Fatorma Mulbah announced he was entering the transfer portal. As fate would have it, his first game with his new team will be played right in Beaver Stadium. Mulbah announced on Twitter on Thursday he has committed to West Virginia.

West Virginia’s first game of the 2023 season will be played on the road at Penn State on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Mulbah was a three-star player in Penn State’s Class of 2020 from Harrisburg, PA. He enrolled early in January 2020 and played primarily on special teams duty for the Nittany Lions in 2022. Mulbah redshirted the 2020 season and he will have the NCAA’s extra year of eligibility at his disposal as he looks to continue his football career, potentially elsewhere.
