When will former OU softball star Jordy Bahl make her debut with Nebraska?

Nebraska softball is set to begin its season this week, and all eyes are on Jordy Bahl as she nears her debut with the Cornhuskers.

The expectations are high for the junior pitcher, who won two Women’s College World Series titles with OU and was named a first-team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association both seasons.

Bahl is a native Nebraskan and helped Papillion-La Vista High School win three straight Class A state titles.

Now back in her home state, she’ll try to lead the Cornhuskers to a successful season after they lost to Oklahoma State 5-2 in regionals last season, finishing 36-22.

Will Jordy Bahl, Nebraska play OU in 2024?

Nebraska and OU are not scheduled to face off in the regular season, but a possible showdown after that is possible.

Bahl is arguably the best pitcher in the country and she’ll likely make a big impact for the Cornhuskers.

It’ll be interesting to see the roles Bahl will have with her new team. She might get more opportunities on offense than she did at OU.

Along with having a 44-2 record and 0.99 ERA in the circle, Bahl has a .350 career batting average, although she mainly served as a pitcher with the Sooners and had just 43 plate appearances.
