Former Michigan football All-American signs with a new NFL franchise
Devin Bush is arguably one of the greatest linebackers to ever play for Michigan. Bush had a short three-year career in Ann Arbor, leaving for the NFL after his junior season. But the sure-tackler left his mark after he was named a two-time All-American in 2017 and a consensus All-American in 2018.
Bush was the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers and was named to the All-Rookie Team after a 109-tackle campaign. But Bush tore his ACL in 2020 after playing just five games and never seemed to regain his rookie form. The Steelers declined his fifth-year option, and Bush played only four seasons for the Steelers.
On Thursday, Ian Rapoport reported the Seattle Seahawks swooped in and signed Bush to a one-year deal.

The Seahawks said an area of focus this season would be the linebacker position and the hope is a change of scenery will help Bush and get him back to the player he was at Michigan and in his first year in the NFL.
If Bush is able to regain form, we would expect him to have a sizeable role in Seattle this season.
