Former five-star LSU commit enters transfer portal
Aaron Anderson was one of the top recruits in the country for the class of 2022. He was rated as a five-star and the No. 23 player in the country on Rivals, and he announced his intention to transfer away from Alabama on Monday.
Anderson played his high school ball at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans. Brian Kelly has put an emphasis on finding Louisiana natives in the transfer portal and Anderson was ranked as high as the No. 2 player in Louisiana last year.
At one time, he was even committed to LSU. He committed to the Tigers on December 19, 2020, and that commitment held firm until Alabama entered the picture and took him away on October 29, 2021.
So, a former five-star wide receiver from New Orleans that was once committed to LSU has entered the transfer portal? I’m sure coach Kelly will be all over this to try and bring a Louisiana kid back home.
With Jaray Jenkins announcing his plans to enter the draft, the Tigers could use another wide receiver.
