Former Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams head coach Dick Vermeil was honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame at halftime of the Eagles-Rams game with a special ceremony.

Vermeil will be honored with a Hall of Fame Ring ceremony. According to therams.com, Vermeil was joined by members of his Super Bowl-winning team including fellow Hall of Famers Isaac Bruce, Marshall Faulk, Orlando Pace, and 2023 Hall of Fame semi-finalist Torry Holt. In addition, more than 20 Rams Legends, Rams Cheerleaders, 50 cancer fighters and survivors and members of Vermeil's family joined the on-field ceremony. Vermeil was honored by the Eagles last season.

The Hall of Fame head coach, who coached both teams during his 15-year career, guided the Eagles to an NFC Championship in 1980. The Eagles lost to the Raiders in Super Bowl XV. He led the Rams, then in St. Louis, to victory over Tennessee in Super Bowl XXXIV after the 1999 season. He also led the Rams to an NFC title in 2001 before losing to New England in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Vermell was 120-109 as a head coach. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.

Fans on social media were loving it.

Of course, there's always one.
