Football: What would the FHSAA brackets look like if the playoffs started today?
It's a new week of the Florida High School Athletic Assocation's power ranking and some teams made big moves.
Cocoa, which was No. 7 in Class 2S last week, made the move to No. 1 in the class and No. 6 overall in the state with a rating of 17.087. Cocoa beat Treasure Coast, the No. 5 team in Class 4S, on Friday.
Plantation-American Heritage is the new No. 1 in Class 2M with a 16.813 rating after beating Cardinal Gibbons on Friday. Norland is No. 2 in 2M with a rating of 11.294.
Lake Mary jumped over Palm Beach Central to the top spot in Class 4M with a rating of 16.178. The Rams beat Mandarin on Friday.
Chaminade-Madonna (Class 1M) remained the No. 1 overall team in the state, followed by Mainland (3S), Buchholz (4S), St. Thomas Aquinas (3M) and St. Augustine (3S).
The other No. 1 ranked teams in each class are Community School of Naples (1S) and Williston (1R).
